THE CROSS: RESURRECTION POWER (5)
Philippians 3:10-11; John 11
Satan may have thought he won by killing the Son of God on that Friday, but Sunday is coming!
We believe wholeheartedly that Jesus arose from the dead that Sunday morning. We believe there is mighty power in the resurrection of Christ. But do believe that “Resurrection Power” is available to us here and now” The apostle Paul did. He writes: “I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection…” (Philippians 3:10a). It was the resurrection power of Christ that sustained Paul while imprisoned at Rome. It is the same resurrection power that also sustains us during the difficulties that we face in life.
Jesus reveals His resurrection power in a mighty way as raises Lazarus from the dead (John 11). He said if we believe in Him, we will live even if we die.
