PUTTING OUR MISSION INTO ACTION
Selected passages from Acts; Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:19-20
OUR MISSION here at Garfield Christian Church is: CONNECT WITH GOD. GROW IN CHRIST. SERVE ONE ANOTHER. REACH THE LOST. Actually, OUR MISSION is GOD’S MISSION for His universal church. It’s the same mission that Jesus gave His disciples before ascending to heaven.
The problem with GCC and most churches, for that matter, is that we are not putting our mission (God’s mission) into action. We see OUR MISSION every Sunday printed on a banner and hanging on a wall in the sanctuary, but seldom do we put it into action (myself included).
Come join us this Sunday as we revisit OUR MISSION to see what God wants every member of GCC and His church world over to do in PUTTING GOD’S MISSION INTO ACTION.
