SUNDAY LESSON, 7/10/22
PREPARE FOR WAR: THE BREATPLATE OF RIGHTE0USNESS
Ephesians 6:10-14
Last Sunday we learned that “the belt of truth” is the anchor on which we take our stand for God. Without “TRUTH” we will be like what the apostle Paul describes as being “tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming”(Ephesians 4:14b). We realize from our study that Satan is the one pulling the strings of these “cunning and crafty men” wanting us to believe the devil’s lies.
Without “TRUTH” there can be no “RIGHTEOUSNESS”. Righteousness is simply living right and just lives before God in adherence to His will for us. Truth shows us how to live, and righteousness is putting it to practice.
Come join us Sunday as we delve into what it means to us as Christians “to put on the breastplate of righteousness.”
EPHESIANS 6:10-14:
