JESUS’ LAST HOURS
Matthew 26:36-27:56
Yes, I know Easter is a few weeks away, but this Sunday will be the start to a sermon series looking at JESUS’ LAST HOURS culminating with His crucifixion on the cross and then for the next few weeks we will be looking at JESUS’ LAST WORDS spoken on the cross.
This Sunday’s lesson will be more of a narration than a typical sermon. We will follow the last hours of Jesus starting with the Garden of Gethsemane and leading up to Him being nailed to the cross, all from the book of Matthew. To get the most from this lesson, I encourage you to read Matthew 26:36-27:56.
Starting March 6 and each week thereafter up to the Sunday before Easter, we will be studying Jesus’s last words He uttered while hanging on the cross (seven phrases in all).
