THE BIBLE DOESN’T SAY THAT
Over the next few weeks, starting Sunday, we will be taking a look at some popular sayings that we often see posted on social media or hear someone say or even have said ourselves that we thought were in the Bible, but the reality is THE BIBLE DOESN’T SAY THAT.
A lot of these sayings certainly sound good, and if they’re not in the Bible they should be–or should they? Actually, once we analyze these sayings from a Biblical perspective, we will see that some of the most familiar that we may have even used ourselves can be rather harmful spiritually and/or emotionally.
In this lesson we consider the popular phrase: “God wants me to be happy.”
