GALATIANS: FREEDOM IN CHRIST
(overview of Galatians)
I have been bouncing back and forth as to what sermon series I wanted to preach this summer. I finally settled on doing a summer sermon series on the book of Galatians titled: FREEDOM IN CHRIST.
This Sunday’s lesson serves only as an introduction to Galatians as we look at the dangers of “LEGALISM”: what it is, how do we recognize it, and how do we fight against it. I have titled this Sunday’s sermon: FREE AT LAST!
Come join us Sunday as we begin this series to see how Paul addresses the legalism that had crept into the Galatian church, and learn how we in today’s church today truly enjoy our FREEDOM IN CHRIST.
GALATIANS 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves
be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
