AUTHENTIC LOVE: THE GREATEST GIFT
1 Corinthians 12:31a and 1 Corinthians 13:13
This Sunday I will be concluding our sermon series on 1 Corinthians 13 titled: AUTHENTIC LOVE.
Paul’s conclusion is that “agape love” is THE GREATEST GIFT. That is really a bold conclusion, especially when you consider that the gifts of “FAITH and HOPE” are on that list. Of the three, “faith, hope and love”, love is the only one that is eternal—that never fails.
1 CORINTHIANS 12:31a
Now eagerly desire the greater gifts…
1 CORINTHIANS 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
