SUNDAY LESSON, 1/25/26

GRACE-DRIVEN CHURCH: AFFIRMING ONE ANOTHER IN CHRIST
Acts 2:42-47 (selected passages)
This Sunday we will be focusing on the letter “A” as we work down the acronym G.R.A.C.E.
We started with “GROWING spiritually in Christ.”   Last week we studied the importance of REACHING others for Christ.”
This week we will study how imperative it is for the Lord’s church to be ARRIRMING ONE ANOTHER IN CHRIST.”  The early church put great emphasis on fellowshipping their brothers and sisters in Christ; in fact, they, among other disciplines, “devoted themselves to fellowship” (Act 2:42).   I believe that Christian Fellowship shows the world that we belong to Christ.  Jesus emphasized that we (the church) are recognized as His followers by “our love for one another” (John 13:34).

Come join us Sunday as we study the importance of Christian Fellowship as we “AFFIRM ONE ANOTHER” and see what it looks like in today’s church.
ACTS 2:42-47
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
