DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE

Speaker: Fred Sigle

SUNDAY LESSON,  9/3/23

DON’T WASTE YOUR LIFE
Ephesians 5:15-17

Our lives are short.  In fact, James describes our life as “mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes” (James 4:14).  Compared to eternity our life is just a puff of smoke, and then is gone.   So, where do we devote most of our time and energy, on our physical life or eternal life?
Paul told the Ephesian Christians to be careful how you live” and “know what God’s will is” for your life.   God truly wants to bless our lives on this earth, but Christians understand that this life is only temporary and we are mere strangers passing through.   Therefor everything that we do while on this earth in our home life, business life, recreational life, etc. is to prepare us for eternal life in heaven.
Come join us Sunday as we answer three important questions about our responsibility in not only making the most out of our earthly lives, but, most importantly, preparing for eternal life.
EPHESIANS 5:15-17
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
