INDEPENDENCE DAY SERMON, 7/5/26

GOD BLESS AMERICA
Psalm 33:10-12 (selected passages)

As we celebrate a landmark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we look back at a rich heritage of liberty.  When the founders of this country drafted a document declaring independence, they asserted a radical idea: that the rights of humanity are bestowed not by a king or a government, but by the Creator Himself.
God has certainly blessed our nation over the last two-and-a-half centuries.  However, we are keenly aware that it is only by God’s choosing if He will continue to bless the United States of America.  In fact, God’s blessing upon America is contingent on our humbly recognizing and seeking Him as our sovereign Lord, praying to Him and repenting of our sins  (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Come join us Sunday as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday and learn what we can do individually and collectively as a church to maintain God’s Blessings on America.
